Not holding boost

Post by Marc9n3 »

I have a bit of a problem, my car was running fine last night but today when I went away my car didn't feel normal (felt sluggish) then i noticed the boost gauge was only reading 5psi it won't budge over 5, its revo stage 1 with a forge split-r, it used to peak about 20psi then settle around 15-16psi, anybody had this problem before?

Cheers Marc

Have a habit of collapsing too. Sounds like a pipe off somewhere.

Even tho there was no engine management lights i thought I'd run diagnostics anyway and it came back with 17560, reason for this code are:-

MAF faulty
Intake leaking / faulty
Fuel injector faulty
Fuel pump faulty
Exhaust system leaking
Secondry air injection system faulty / leaking

I reset the fault anyway and it's been fine since, my thoughts are that the MAF mabye gave a dodgy reading? Anyway I jst hope the fault doesn't come back

Mine did this (Not the codes, just no boost)

Turned out it was the thin Vaccum pipe had split coming from the dump valve :/
