I've had a look for this recently and there isn't really a comprehensive guide on how to do this. I'm hoping to have a go at this myself at some stage. Has anyone got any advice or some kind of guide? To be honest, pictures would be really helpful.
I know it's a lot to ask but it may help out other members in future and might be a good thread to pop in to the DIY section
Thanks,
Nigel

Re: Topping Up Gearbox Oil...
its really not hard, unscrew the filler plug (need 17mm hex key), stick a lenght of hose pipe in the hole and top up through the hose pipe till oil runs out of the hole.
filler plug should be on the front of the gearbox between the 3 torx headed bolts.

Sweet Cheers Rover!
I'll go have a nosy when it gets a bit brighter and take some pictures and maybe piece together a DIY if I decide to have a go at this.

Just make sure you open the filler plug first. Might be a little inconvenient if you can let the oil out but not manage to put the new oil in...
