Polo 1.2 TSI Longevity ?

Post by frigiliana »

Hi new member with a question , hopefully i will soon be in a position to buy a new Polo 1.2 TSI Sport (i live in Spain) i think this is a similar model to the SEL ,

How do you think the 1.2 TSI engine will cope with a regular journey down and back up a hill , i live about 7 km approx 4 miles up the side of a mountain range sounds dramatic but it's not just a gentle incline about 430 metres above sea level ?

Also is the multi function steering wheel worth opting for? I've read a few posts saying they wouldn't have bothered if they'd known it didn't control the computer only the radio ?
(I love looking at all of the fabulous photo's you all post)

I can second this. You wouldn't believe it's a 1.2. Have you driven one? :)

No they only had diesel polo's , over here in Spain the TSI engine is not seen much except for the Golf 1.4 TSI . plenty of diesels as the hire companies use them
