Cup Holder jammed in ... any tips?

The dashboard cup holder on our 2007 1.2S is stuck in, and the front has come off ... presumably pulled off while trying to open it ... any tips ... been waggling it in every direction for 10 minutes to no avail.

Can u not get somthing in the side of it to prise it out? Mine did this after a spillage of relentless sooo sticky

try pushing the inside back into itself firmly, and springing it back out? might work that way.

Eventually managed to get it to pop out.

A dose of WD40 and exercised for ten minutes and it was back to normal.
