Windscreen sounds and windscreen washer problems...

Can someone tell me what's wrong with my car - as i drive 50+ mph the windscreen emits like a scratching sound on the passenger side and also i've filled my washer tank to the full last week but it doesn't spray anything???

Probably just the cold weather at a guess. The window seals don't perform as well as they should, my car seems to creak a little more when it's cold. For the washers not working, i'd guess it's because they're frozen! Can you hear the pump going when you use the washers? The new model is probably quieter so you might have to stick your ear to the bonnet while somebody else tries them.

If you actually look at your wiper arms, you'll find they're frozen, hence the scratching sound. As for no water coming from the washers, either they're covered with snow or your water tank has frozen (most likely option).

I figured the washer ... not enough water
and as for windscreen sounds - i've had that noise before the freezeover
