Hi all
Been a long time since I have posted here. My first post can be found at:
http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... fb#p371302
My Polo SEL is now coming up for it's 2nd birthday! Still loving it a lot which is steering me at looking for a new one, possibly later in the year. Been looking around but nothing catches my eye apart from the Alfa Romeo Mito or the Polo.
GTI a little too pricey for me. A little too much to justify.
Can't find many pics of black Polo's SEL's with the Boavista wheels........3 or 5 door?
Anyone have any they can link?
Thanks!
Gary

Re: A New Polo Maybe?
My advice would stay away from the Mito, funky looking car, depreciates like a stone! Your better off sticking with Volkswagen!
Re: A New Polo Maybe?
Thanks Craig
Wondered about the depreciation on the Mito.
Probably good that the nearest dealership is about 90+ miles away!
Looks like it will probably be a new Polo. Current one due for service Feb/March so will have a browse while waiting.
Love to see some pics though

I'm abandoning my Polo SE for a top of the range new Volkswagen Up! You get more for your money, only thing is a teeny tiny 1 litre engine! Will do me perfectly

Some black with Boavistas:

Rather have nimbus grey though with kit & spoiler on:

Too nice...

Lummee - I bought my Polo with the intention of keeping it for 8 to 10 years.
If you trade a new car in after a couple of years the hit on depreciation is a killer, whatever the car. If this is your buying style, then I would suggest always going for a second-hand cars...

Hi mate,
What SEL do you currently have? You mentioned the GTI being a little bit too pricey for you, why not opt for the 1.2 TSI?
Couple of pictures below of a 1.2 TSI in Diamond Black with the 17" Boavista alloys. You can't go wrong with Diamond Black/Candy White/Nimbus Grey or Flash Red. They all look fantastic with the Boavistas

Thanks for the pics guys!
AJ_7, the black with 5 doors looks real good....so does the 3 door.
I've currently got the SEL 1.4. You can see the pics in the link I included on my initial post.
Thanks again
Cheers
