6R footrest

Just finished fitting this today. Took 20mins total. Bonus for anyone not wanting to screw it in is that you can order them with no holes. Also you can specify the letters. TDI, GTI etc. 8)

Added some red tape behind the GTI to mine for added effect.

I got them off a chap on the MKV Golf forum. He had sold them before for the 9n3 Polo's and wanted a test fit for the 6R Polo. Fit perfectly, so the footrests between this model and the previous one is virtually zero 8)

Some other guys off SCN are asking for prices as it looks like they fit the Ibiza and Fabia too.

Can he make them with differant wording? ie POLO Or 6R. :wink: How did you fit it? How did you get your trim section off?

Yes Al can custom make wording if you want.

You can buy two types either abolted one which basically means taking the footrest off ( one plastic screw at the top of the footrest and then pulls straight off ) or you can buy them without bolt holes and glue them. :D

I e-mailed them and they said they don't do what i want :cry: Looks like i will have to get a plain one then.

Took me 20 minutes to do mine, including removal and refitting. One of the easiest mods you will do.
