Can anyone confirm these are legal please?

I know it says under the number plate bit "Fully road legal" but I don't always trust eBay folk haha. I heard that blue lights are illegal.

Are you allowed blue sidelights?

I was originally going to get just the number plate lights as my original yellow ones are so dull and boring but thought what the hell might as well go mad!

Haha i think that might be me the"eBay folk"

I think i need to amend the ebay listing with different pictures the reason being why they look blue in my picture as the high beam bulb has a blue tint on it and the sidelight once on must reflect of the blue tint which gives it the blue effect. (If that makes sense) Otherwise they are cool white as others have mentioned in this topic: http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 4&start=30

Heres a picture of what a customer sent me who bought the sidelights of me recently:

Hope that answers your question

I got a mechanic to install the lights tonight along with my front brake pads and discs. The only thing I'm concerned at now is that these are obviously a different colour to my normal headlights. . .do you think this looks stupid? Can you get headlight ones the same colour? I'll go out and take a photo now and post it tomorrow :)

EDIT: Here they are now. :)

There looking nice mate.

You can upgrade your main beam to a HID/Xenon conversion kit which i also do so the L.E.D bulbs blend in nicely. Loads of people have there own opinions about xenons/hid kits but i my self have done a heck a lot of polos (not bragging) and HID/Xenons turn out very well on these. I do the H7R kits so less glare from the actual bulb as it has a shield coating on the bulb. But hey thats an option for you. You can get normal halogen bulbs as an upgrade but you will never get the xenon look.

I think that you will find if you fit "hotter" burning bulbs, ie Philips Extremes, then the headlights bulbs will look the same as your new sidelights.

When the original 9N Polo was due to come to the market, the advance blurb from VW said that HIDs would be optional - they lied! I've got factory fit HIDs on my B5 Passat and they are GREAT!

Hotter burning bulbs that look like my sidelights? They sound awesome but if they're hotter are they dangerous? Can you only have them on for so long before they burn the cables or something?
