Polo Gti: Oil residue around the injectors

Hi Guys,

Just noticed there last week, the area around all the injectors had some oil residue around it.
I was just thinking if any of the gti owners on here had the same issue? Does it mean the O rings
need changing?

Also would this cause bad idle?

I had this so changed the seals. Need to check this resolved it. Only driven my car 4 times this year.

I didn't have any running issues though just residue

How difficult is it to change the seals? Take it the seals are cheap enough

I am not having running issues as such apart from the strange idle dip i get when the engine is warm.

Easy to change the seals. And cheap too

Ok cool!!!! what about the seats? do they need changed aswell as I was reading somewhere they are glued onto the block?

Just the bottom seal. Didn't change the seats in the manifold.
