H&R Experience

Post by Stugolf1 »

Hi guys considering purchasing some lowering springs to take the edge off the high stance on my Gti, I have 2 high options -30mm ones or -45mm ones basically, I want to fit 18s to the car so concerned the lower type will be a bit too low without rubbing?

Does anyone have any experience with these? Or low Gti's?

Cheers

Hi m8....i have the 25/40 on mine because am also fitting 18 in about 2 weeks time...i have a friend who has the deeper version and when he put on 18's got a bit of rubbing...he since has changed to the 25/40 and has had no problems to date. He is running 215/35/18 et35.

Are you referring to the 35/55 which on the GTI actually works out to 25/40?

If you're going with 18's, then either will be fine, the 17's get lost in the guards with the lowering springs unfortunately and it looks......Odd.....

So the new 30/45 is equivalent to the 25/40?
