Polo 9n3 GTi Top Mounts F**ked

Started taking the top mount of and the 3 bolt that hold the top mount to the car, one of them is turning inside the top mount. You can see the part which is spinning and cannot grip it with vice grips as it keeps turning.

Probably going to have to drill through it but was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

cover up everywhere you can,and grind the bolt head off

not meaning to hyjack your post but out of interest what top mounts did you buy???
mine are on there way out and the only ones i seen to be able to find are from gsf/eurocar parts.

any info would be great

Try removing the centre but that holds the strut to the mount. That will allow you to take the strut and spring out of the way. Then get in from underneath with the mole grips.

Watch out for the spring popping out tho. Use spring clamps if u have them.
