BMC air filter

Any point upgrading to a BMC air filter on a totally standard 9N3 GTI? Less than £50 on Ebay but would you notice the difference?

You got a link for the filter ? It mite not fit if it's what I think it is . I have a cheep 20 quid one and it makes the dv valve sound better .
