Static Cornering Fog Lights

Post by jlwood92 »

Just picked up my polo match. Is it possible to enable static cornering lights with a VCDS? If so how and where is the cheapest way to buy one

I don't think this is a straightforward coding job.

To the best of my knowledge the fogs with cornering function have two separate bulbs & bulb housings - one for fog and one for the cornering function.

The latter space is utilised on the BlueMotion for the DRL's.

That sucks :( looks like my fogs are gonna be permenently on then. What about setting DRL as fogs. Is this not possible in a standard Polo Match?

Hiya
i have cornering lights :D there is only 1 bulb in each housing! It is the fog bulb that illumunates. I think only the bluemotion has 2 bulbs in each lamp.

Why would your fogs be on permanently??

Exactly the same in mine, one bulb and static cornering. If you haven't got a bluemotion it will be the headlights on all the time not the fogs.
