few things i've been thinking about are :

Dial lights blue
HID's
wheels (may take a while to get)
lowered (maybe)
engine bay bit more colourful
gaiter (black with red stiching)
steering wheel trim insert

I want to just make subtle mods to make her my own

Has anyone changed this light to a brighter light ie HID??

I've not seen anyone on here change it to anything different. I can't imagine it being overly difficult, you'd just have to take the unit out and change the bulb inside to an LED or something. I picked up a couple of cheap LED bulbs off eBay and i'm currently using them as number plate lights and they're fantastic!

Do you know what fitment the bulb is?

I changed mine. All you need is a similar LED bulb to the sidelights The boot looks well now

Would these fit my polo?? i've tried my best to use the info on here....
would my car get fround upon??
would i need any spacers etc??

I know these are 18's so may look to big.. would prefer to have them in 17's but don't think i can find any with the right stud diametor
