Anti-hijack
Anti-hijack
I'm considering activating the anti-hijack on my 9n3 GTi (where the doors automatically lock after setting off). From those who have it active, what are your thoughts on it? Can passengers still open the door by pulling the door handle twice? Thanks!

Re: Anti-hijack
I've got it, and the auto-unlock when you pull the ignition key out. I think it's great, the passenger door can still be opened by pulling the handle twice. Only problem is everyone who goes in my car pulls it once and then stares at it with a confused face on
Worth doing for the peace of mind of having the doors locked all the time.

I wasn't aware of the auto-unlock, that sounds ace.blazeguarder wrote:I've got it, and the auto-unlock when you pull the ignition key out. I think it's great, the passenger door can still be opened by pulling the handle twice.
Haha, worth doing it for that reaction alone I'd say.blazeguarder wrote:Only problem is everyone who goes in my car pulls it once and then stares at it with a confused face on![]()

I have this and love the fact that soon as you go over 10 mph it locks

I am thinking about getting it on polo seen as some lads tried to rob my old car with me in it other year
one knocked on passenger window and other ran up to drivers side one at the front to apparently stop me lol s**t their self when car reved up and wheels span in snow ( well I did too) lol

Exactly. The lock sound is reassuring to hear as you drive away. It's quite cool too.9N3 Turbo wrote:I have this and love the fact that soon as you go over 10 mph it locks
