I am just after buying my first polo, the 9n3 (2006) 3dr 1.2l in Black.
I need suggestions for what looks good and what to avoid basically! I fancy keeping it simple for now, change the grill to the gti, de badge the unnecessary stuff on the boot, and obviously the alloys need changing. What would be best, the 16" or 17" gti Monzas, the 16" contours off the VW UK site or something a bit different like the 17" alloys on the new polo 6r gti which In see someone has for sale in here.
Also are 17" too big for the polo? I must stress I do not want to lower the car, been there done that! I'm a bit old you see
so will 17" sitting on standard suspension be OK?Also when on eBay looking for wheels, what specification am I after, I don't want to buy a set of Monzas only to find out there for a Golf or something!
