S.O.S Suspension Polo 9N

Post by Markino »

I bougth new Polo 9N 1.9 TDi Highline with ESP...
It's great car and has a very powerfull engine but.... I think thata the suspension are too soft for my guide!!!
The grip is good but if I enter hard and fast in one curve or I take right-left speedly the car is like a boat in the see... :D

Probably my stile guide is little bit aggressive but I think that a good suspension kit (but not too hard!) is the rigyt solution!

Anyone fit new racing suspension on 9N? Any aggressive ?

Bye from Italy!
P.S: sorry for my English...

Mole (a guy on this forum) has "KW Variant II" coilover (height adjustable) suspension on his 9N and he is very happy with the setup.

Yeah he has V1s, like me.

Mole said the system was very very hard, but I have it and I think it's perfect.

Few weeks ago I lowered my polo 50mm front and 30mm back With Eibach sportline springs...
Looks REALLY good and the handling went from stock polo to heaven...
The ride is smooth as silk...

My coilies were £530.

The person above me, that setup sounds "deathtrap" to me...I'd NEVER mix springs!

Define mixing?:?:

If you mean that I've lowered more from the front...
I thought that it would look rather stupid with 30/30 lowering
'cos the car is just a little higher in front...

That's just my opinion don't mind me... :?

That is how the sportline springs are supplied, TUV approved so they are right

That´s right and I should have mine installed next friday (Eibach Sport-system = springs and dampers). The drop should be 45-50mm front and about 30-35mm rear.

Btw. I´ve seen pictures of Vilus´s car and I think it looks great, so...

So I shall reveal it...

Those are the original rims from Bora 1.8T... Believe or not...
