Also picked up a sub and amp today. Wasn't planning on getting one but my mate was selling his so I took it home and had a little look online and it's a Mutant twin sub each is 600W and the amp is a 'the loudest' 3000W which is £300 new alone and seeing as he wants £100 for both I don't think I'm gonna turn it down

Good work 8)

The lowerage is lovely and the extra subs should give some much needed great bass.

I told him I'd lowered it yesterday and despite declaring it and everything he completely flipped. Said he won't help me with my insurance renewal next month and seeing as I'm still a student and won't be working full time until September time I can't afford to pay it monthly yet. I've got A level exams next month too and my car won't be insured and I live 15 miles away from my school so I've no idea how I'm going to get there now too.

But yeah if I want a car and insurance to enjoy my last summer before I start working and be able to get to my exams then I'll have to think about selling this.

I'll probably buy a 6n or 6n2, hopefully it'll mean I'll have a bit left over to play around with it so I guess it's not all bad, just would suck if I do have to sell it as like you will all probably understand you get quite attached to your first car!

Just tell him you will walk then. He'll cough up its what Dads are for!

Remind him he was your age once ;-)

Also - give him some calm down time!

on the bright side of things given what I'd get for this I might be able to afford a 6n2 gti and insurance or a Lupo gti :)
