I done mine myself with the kit from Kufatec, cost me around £85 all in

Not alot of point, I've tried but he's not signed in for 3 weeks a d is not respOnding to his phOne.

Yeah, as BennoGTi says, if you're fine with soldering and being a bit of a contortionist then you can just fit it yourself for less than £100. Even paying someone with VCDS to code it means that you're still paying less... It's not hard to fit, just a bit fiddly.

I have vagcom and am more than capable of wiring etc.

Are there any decent instructions with the kufatec kit?

The Kufatec instructions are in german, I used google translator to put it in "Engrish" and basically followed the pictures which pretty much explain it well enough

There's a couple of decent guides on the internet as well. I had a couple which I looked at as well as the Kufatec one, because the translations were rubbish! Easy enough to follow though. You'll need the right removal tool as well though, which is a 12m tri-square bit. Like this: ebay link

I have it - RARELY use it even on 1000km's trips i never use it?? :lol:

Use mine all the time, getting into the girlfriends stock 9N3 without CC is almost torture on the motorway :lol:

I haven't got it on my car yet but every time I've been in a car that has it I always use it :) I find it so usefull. It stops me speeding XD
