My Polo is a 1.2 TSi SEL mate but my grill has a massive hole in so i'm just looking for any grill to replace it with but I don't wanna spend £75+ on a new one!

Not done anything to it really apart from the odd bulb change and an A3 exhaust trim.

Climbing aboard the Mortgage ladder soon so not taking kindly to pissing my money away on car mods

AJ_7 wrote:PumpkinPie, I know you've mentioned you fitted an SEL grille. May I ask what you have done with your old grill? Reason for asking - I had a pebble go through mine and it's left a three inch hole in mine so i'm looking for a 2nd hand lower grill in decent condition. Would you sell yours?
You can have it for free if you cover postage costs, I'm not going to be using it again and it's only taking up space at the moment.

Got both rings in the photo:

Anyone know how the number plate is attached to the black surround? I had an accident with a bird this morning and broke mine :?

thanks it looks better then i was expecting how easy is the ring on the headlight to fit ?

if you mean the bit that says the name of the vw dealer below the number plate mine was just stuck i took them off mine anyway but the plate should be held on by a couple of screws

Both of the rings just push on, they are milled aluminium and tight enough that they don't fall off when you push them on.

The black plate surround is screwed on but my number plate goes over the top of the screws, so I don't know if the number plate is just stuck on with double-sided tape.
