had the leds fitted ,i will get some pictures done at night, there is a bit of a query with vw bury,at moment .The leds at the moment are on the same time as the normal daytime lights, main headlights,i was under the impression they came on instead of the daytime lights ,and went out when you put your main lights on,the accessories read up on vw s own web site state this,i will find out more tomorrow.

They look awful and not OEM in my opinion. What made you want them? Also I wouldn't have accepted the car back without the headlights being off when the LED's are running.

Nice car though

Hi, are they led's or separate bulbs? They look quite yellow, might just be photo.

Hi Jonny,

They look nice mate. It's a shame they come on at the same time as the dipped beam but i'm sure this is just a teething problem with you being the first to have them fitted. I'm quite confident your dealer will sort this out for you though! More pictures welcomed :D

Hey man!
Firstly, they do look awesome on the car, the way they integrate into the body. However, i feel they don't look as bright or as white as i was expecting, i was expecting some audi-kind of quality light :?

The LED's are manafactured by Hella. The same company that manafactures the majority of the LED DRL's on multiple car makes such as Audi, Vauxhall, Mercedez-benz etc. They will be of equal brightness I think Jonny's camera/phone can't handle it :)

Could you post an 'edge on' photo please to show how far they stick out from the bumper?

been down 2 vw bury this morning ,they now realize there is a wiring problem, and they don"t go off when they should, technician shown me the wiring on the lights,at the moment they are getting in touch with there technicians in the uk +germany, service manager has also said they may have to get in touch with ms design (led lights )see what they say.i have told them if there is no fix i want a new bumper,i don"t want leds that will not go out,i might as well of got some from halfords.which they agreed. they have also said they will fill my tank of petrol for inconvenience. i did suggest the led headlights as a sweetner, they did"nt say no.

me and my partner think they have tryed a fast one ,but i do my home work on the internet ,so when they were throwing questions i had a answer straight back at them.

had another phone call today from vw bury, apparently vw accessories dept uk are looking into led lights as to why they don"t turn off when they should, manager told me it will be next week now, before they get an update.

just glad i am getting updates instead of me ringing up,just have to wait see what happens next week.
