Much difference need help!!

Post by Chris.T_pologti »

Afternoon guys i need your help!! I have a 9n3 gti with:

.Full milltek turbo back
.Forge front mount intercooler
.Split-r dump valve even though it annoys me
. Bigger air intake with panel filter
. Revo stage one map

I have just ordered a turbo intake pipe so that will be going on asap! My question is i have got all the mods to go for stage 2 but is the any point me forking out extra cash for bot much gain?? In not fussed about fuel or what not just dont want to build my hopes up and think its gunna be loads better when in reality it may not be!! Any opinion is helpful thanks chris

Stage 2 does mean poor mpg, I'm lucky to get over 30mpg if I'm driving like a granny but it is worth it in my opinion. More torque throughout the rev range and feels so much stronger. Overall straight-line speed I would say there ain't much in it but it's not about that in my opinion.

I am running Revo stage 2 and +30mpg is careful slow-lane motorway driving. More around low 20s mpg for town :(

Defo agree with quinny, the 57i kit makes a massive difference! I kept the pd160 intake as it sits perfectly for the 57i kit with help from a cable tie lol the air duct supplied with the kit is poor quality.
