was it pretty easy fitting the front speakers? coz im thinking of gettin some replacesments for mine+crossovers and all that, seems pretty straight forward but thought id check in case i get in too deep or summin haha

Yeah its pretty straight forward but the only thing is that you have to snip the cable for the speakers as they have VW Connector, and a little bit of electrics/soldering would be very useful, I would be happy to help though.

Sweet yea one of my mates is an electrician and sound engineer so will probs get him to give me a hand to be on the safe side haha, but yea seems pretty simple really :)

also, may sound a bit of a stupid question but do u hav to wire the crossovers to an amp?

A Amp should have a cross over built into them! could LP filters and HP
Low Pass for Subwoofers 80hz -LP
High Pass for Fronts (Y) - HP

Done a few mods. Pictures soon.

should be getting this beauty, on monday. doing a GTI Conversion.
Haven't pass yet, oh well.

Brought a Polo GTI and pinched the bits of it :P

Lowered on FK's Coilovers 60mm Going to try and convert to disc's :D

BAD NEWS GUYS.
SLUGGISH AS HELL. DRIVEN FRIENDS 1.0 AND GOD THATS QUICK ;).
FOUND WATER IN OIL CAP AND LOOSING WATER.
HEAD GASKET GREAT

Yeahhh, i no. but this one was better. my throttle response is bad. like a 1 secs delay. It must be down on compression or its the throttle body is faulty.

take out the whole throttle body and give it a good clean. this usually improves response when there is a lot of dirt gathered inside.

thanks mate, for your advice, yeah its pretty dirty, but i think it is still the head gasket, but yes i will still clean the body! :)

Update
Front GTI Breaks, and going to have rear discs hopefully :D
(Getting closer to a GTI Conversion :L)

Just take it to a garage and get them to do a head test takes 5 minutes is an easy job and will give you a straight answer straight away.

could you tell me how you fitted the electric windows? do you just need to install them and change the door wiring loom ?

or do you need the main wiring loom aswell?
