9n3 interior light not working off all doors

basically, when opening the passenger door the car doesnt realise its open, therefore the alarm goes off and the interior light doesnt activate.

im assuming there is a microswitch somewhere but i could do with a few pointers if this is a common thing?

From other's experiences it will be the micro switch that is in that door lock mechanism.

balls, its started working again however this is obviously the start of a down hill spiral to complete failure.
