What psi do standard 9n3's boost
Hi was just woundering if anyone knows what psi the 9n3 runs standard?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: What psi do standard 9n3's boost
Stock boost peaks at 7psi(about 0.5 BAR).
Re: What psi do standard 9n3's boost
correct!
logged mine while it was stock and it was spot on 0.5bar

Re: What psi do standard 9n3's boost
Ok thanks I was just woundering as I'm runnin a forge 007p valve with a yellow spring as I was told this is what I'd need for remap, I also have a k&n 57i induction. It doesn't chatter very often it just releases the pressure in one go when comming off boost but yet a friends chatters all the time does anyone know why this is?
Is it because of the valve I'm runnin?

Re: What psi do standard 9n3's boost
From Forge website!
So Green = Standard Boost !
Green with spacers = stage 1 depends on your software!
Yellow = Remap Stage like stage 2 apr revo etc! / [Extreme stage 1(?)]
Should be like that!
EDIT: Link dint work! Search Valve Spring Tuning Kit @ Forges Website!
Valve Spring color coding
Green - 5-15 PSI
Yellow - 15-23 PSI
Blue - 23-30 PSI
Red - 30 + PSI
The above figures are estimates only and should only be considered as a guideline
Please note - fitting a stronger spring into a valve will not increase boost pressure unless existing pressure is being lost. Failure to allow the valve to operate by installing a spring which is to strong may cause damage to the turbocharger.

Re: What psi do standard 9n3's boost
and still it's not so correct...
i must use blue or red spring (i now have blue, red is slightly to heavy), with all the rest it's opening to soon
(stage 2)

Then use blue with some spacers to adjust right?Turbomier wrote:and still it's not so correct...

Allthough you don´r run Revo 2, you got some custom ecu done if I´m not mistaken with really high boost almost tops it?
Re: What psi do standard 9n3's boost
Well I'm goin to get stage 2 done soon so I should be ok wiv the valve I've got or do I need to change it for a green spring

Re: What psi do standard 9n3's boost
Mine seems to be around 9psi. Standard car except miltek exhaust, replacement filter and a recirc valve..
