I've heard that cleaning the throttle body can make a difference on how the car runs but i have no clue of doing it.
I've been meaning to get the car serviced as everytime the car is idle or started up, i can smell petrol, friend of mine said its just running a bit rich and may need a service.
So my question is, where abouts is the throttle body located, how can i clean it, what with and is it hard to do?
is there any room for error?

Mine's running rich too - I know I have a dead lambda sensor - might be worth getting yours scanned, see if it's got a sensor fault?
I just took my air filter off and sprayed down there with some carb cleaner and wiped around the inside with a 'lint free' cloth. Not sure it made a difference, but it was easy to do so why not!
As to where it is, I don't know off hand, but post a picture of your engine and someone should be able to help.
