6R standard grill?

this is my standard grill but i want to try something different than the gti grill (looking for cheaper mod) i want to do the badge matt black and the chrome in red, i think it would look mean and different, question: is it posible to remove the chrome trim so its easier to paint?

i'm not too keen on the bluemotion grill tho.... i just want to do something different and i havn't seen the standard grill modded.. hmmm i'll do a photo shop and post in a sec

Sounds worse than it looks maybe? If done well then will look very good.......just obviously dont do it free-hand......

well i'm a spray painter so it will all be done correctly will be doing it most likely on the weekend so make sure you keep looking for my thread
