Lol I've found a set at last, they're £120 but the tyres have only got 5mm tread left so they won't last long. Fook sake! Sell me yours?!?

haha, sorry mate, mine aren't for sale. Pretty integral bit of the car at the moment...

To be honest, £120 for a set is a steal regardless of tyres. I paid £400 for mine when they were new with tyres, down from £550. Even at that price, they were a good deal. Keep an eye out on ebay and they turn up occasionally.

Hmm well I'm in 2 minds ATM cz I've been offered a set of mk4 golf Santa Monica's ehi h are 17's but they need a refurb and haven't got tyres, but I'd be swapping them for some stuff I don't need so they ain't costing me anything. Can't decide ATM! What size are those montreals?

Just a small update for today, bought this GTI footrest a few months ago but finally got around to fitting it today. Great bit of kit, really finishes off the driver's footwell. I thought it wouldn't be that good to be honest, but it's probably one of the best quality items I've ever got through ebay. The fit is excellent.

Haven't been spending too much time on the GTi over the last few months though, been busy with my new toy instead 8)

Pretty standard at the moment but I don't plan on keeping it that way for long!

Nice motor. Where can I get some of those clear indicator bulbs for my headlights?

Ooh, that does look pretty cool. Unfortunately I'm the sort of person who drives about in muddy boots far too much and it'll get absolutely filthy... Great idea though, must have missed your thread before. Might borrow it off you!
