The split needs to be nearer the middle

if you look at it, it's diagonal.... but yeah, straight down the middle (or at least, say, a 40/60 split that's *straight*.... kinda retro-stripe but very very wide)

i think it's a thing to confuse the rozzers with......... pass one on the left, they think its a white golf, on the right they think it's black :D

not a bad idea really, unique and original (and pretty well executed)

if it was all black, i'd like it even more, though i think it looks better than if the car was 50/50 white/black right down the middle, cos that wud look hideous, its got a touch of style about it, as it is :P

on a similar tack, i saw a couple prize barrywagons today in sainsburys car park

one, not so related, was an olllld Evo lancer (like, L-reg)... white.... enormous bodykittage, sponsor transfers all over it, big Red Bull logo, decidedly illegal tints.... broken down and getting in the way by the petrol station (flashers on, no-one about)... and a big ol' pair of L-plates!

the next, more relevant but probably related to that one - a Corrola, kitted out, and painted in the Red Bull can colours. Metallic blue at the back... silver at the front.

(yes, it did look a mess :D could have been so good, but oh so obviously spannered)

I like it! I don't think it'd work with anyother colours though.

I think that's pretty cool actually... even if it's not really to your taste you've got to admit that it's original and that some effort's gone into it. Can't say I'm too keen on the front end, but that's just because I don't really like split headlights like that. Although, I suppose that's a bit hypocritical given my current lighting setup... I just don't think it really works with newer cars. Other than that though, I like :) Clearly a lot of time and effort's gone into it, and it really does stand apart from all the other modded golfs out there..
