doesn't have to be flush.Just want it to fill the arch more.Originally i wanted 10mm but the smallest i can find in hubcentric is 15mm so looks like its going to have to be them,as i don't want the wheel just hanging in the longer bolts.

Well i finally bit the bullet the other day.I went with my mate to pick up some coilovers from venom motorsport and couldn't resist buying some spacers 8) Ended up with some FK 15mm hubcentric ones. They do a few different systems but i opted for the B+ ones. They bolt to the hub ,and then you use you're original bolts. But they have steel helicoils for extra strength :D

They do poke a couple of mm more than i wanted but overall im really happy with them :D Haven't took any pics yet but il get some up ASAP

Sounds good man. I have exactly the same ones on the rear and after a year are still good and strong. Just keep an eye on the torque of the nuts. Get some pics up. We all love red ones as they are the fastest

Il get some pics up soon, having some probs with my fone at the mo and dont own a proper camera  lol
Ive started getting a funny noise from the passenger side when turning right pretty hard.Kinda sounds like the driveshaft  is on its way out.If u shake the driveshaft there is abit of play, prob about a quater of an inch side to side but there doesnt seem to be any on the other side :?

on a plus note though i went to demon tweeks yestaday to get some piping for the cold air feed but they only had one in stock, they are going to post me the 2nd when it arrives next week hopefully.I've given it a coat of wrinkle black and its looking pretty good :D Off to see about some bodywork at some point over the weekend :D

Right,i haven't updated this in a while
I found out where the noise was coming from. The nut on the end of the driveshaft was loose  nipped it back on and its all good now.
In other news my altenator packed in,so ive had that reconditioned. :D

Right its about time I pulled my finger out and updated this :?

Haven't really done to much but I have slowly been collecting a few bits as funds have allowed. I've just been taken on full time by the company im working for so moneys looking a bit better now :D

First heres a pic to show how the fronts sitting now after i fitted the 15mm spacers

Image

Here are some of the bits i have collected

Image
TT Pedals

Image
Samco coupling hose's,aluminium pipes (i have more than in the pic),jubilee clamps and some Black VHT wrinkle paint for my cold air feed, and a edition tax dic holder.

Today i removed the coin tray so i could get all the change that had fell down the back out,was annoying me hearing it rattle around over every bump i went over lol and fitted the tax disc holder.

Il try n keep this a bit more up to date now lol

Cheers man,much appreciated :D

In other news i've managed to lose a centre cap :( I have been in touch with compomotive and they are sending me a replacement set,but they don't do black ones anymore so i've had to have a chrome set.Il see what they look like and if i don't like them il just give them a coat of satin black. They could not of been more helpful (searching the stores to try and find me a black metal one as they are all plastic now),great customer service.
Also had some Poorboys SSR 2.5 delivered today :D

Looking good mate

Are you going to make up your own cold air feed then for the BMC? I thought about doing this myself when I had the GTI, managed to source some aluminium elbows etc from eBay which were well priced but never ended up buying them. I have seen it done before though and it looks awesome 8)

Are you not tempted to feed it direct from the front Grille mate? It can be done with a little work and the flow would be awesome

Yeah,I suppose you are right! I will look into it when i get around to a trial fitting.

I've bought a Dodo juice clay bar and lubricant, poorboys SSR 2.5 and EX-P as a treat to the polos paintwork when i get abit of time.

Image

It passed its MOT last wkend but did have four advisory's  but luckily that was one for each tyre :D So ive had 2 165/50 bridgestone potenza 040's fitted on the front and 2 Toyo proxe t1-r's fitted on the rear. The stretch looks abit more than the nankangs i had on the front as there is now rim protector so im no poking rim lol

Image

These also turned up in the post 8)

Image

Had a quick trial fit.stil unsure wether i like the chrome but i will give it abit of time to see if it grows on me :?
