12 or 62 Plate???

Hi Everyone,


I have just bought a new polo on finance with VW. I am keeping the car for around 36 months and hoping to go to a gold or scirocco next. However my car comes in next week and I am wondering whether to put it on hold until the 62 plate come out in September? Would this make any difference in resale value or would i be ok with a 12 plate?

What are your opinions?

Pretty sure it'll be on a 12, it'll prob make a bit of difference in resale, my Passat is a 57 but wasn't reg till 2008, doesn't really bother that much, mileage and condition matter more!

It'll be negligable and miles more likely to affect the value.
12 plate looks nicer anway I think

I could of had mine on last years plates as mine came in feb but i asked the dealer to hold the car until march so i could roll on a 12plate with yours beeing a 1/2year reg change i wouldn't be as bothered although if it was going to be coming end of august ask them to hold it and put on a new number. Even if it's just for bragging rights
