A couple of shots at a local rolling road day where i didnt do so well, i only ran 117bhp, but thats totally standard on a twelve year old car so not so bad i suppose

Personally id split them iv done 3 sets of bbs wheels and you wont get it perfect unless you split them its not hard just a spline kit for £10 some wet and dry paper and metal polishV Bachetta wrote:Nice Polo dude.... personally there is a bit too much poke on the wheels however it does look sweet. Each to their own as they say.....
Can you tell me how you polished your lips on the standard BBS wheels, i'd like to try this myself without splitting the wheels.
Cheers, i know it is a lot of poke but i love it and i didnt expect everyone to agree, i wouldn't advice polishing them without splitting them, but all i did was start with 240 grit wet and dry with some soapy water, sand them right down making sure you get off all the corroded bits then work your way up the grades to 2000 grit and i finished with some meguiars metal polish, you will end up with very sore fingers though from trying get the paper as far in the gap as possible, its not a bad finish but would be ten times easier if you split themV Bachetta wrote:Nice Polo dude.... personally there is a bit too much poke on the wheels however it does look sweet. I know its been a long time coming lol, i just never have the time but i'll make sure i keep on top of it now, i cannot wait for edition and ive decided to keep the wheels on and just put a little more psi in maybeP mk4 wrote:Finally bencar looks sweet iv got some pics somewhere of yours which i shall upload. That if i get them done in time with all the work ive taken on lol, it should be done thoughAshcroft wrote:Looks good mate, looking forward to your sneaky updates your keeping quiet from us
I'll try both and see which cures it better lolAshcroft wrote:You will get it done
Phil was thinking less psi should cure the wobble better than more psi
Trottagti wrote:Sorry dude your fitment is horrendous up front, these et0? You need your arches pulling out alot, surprised you haven't been pulled over yet mate. Pretty sure it's illegal to have the wheels out that much. Arch enemy is what is needed here mate.....
Its all legal the tread is under the arche at the top and the wheels do not protude out further than your wing mirrors. I think it sits fine if you flare the front arches you will regret it if you change wheels and your arches are stupid wide !Trottagti wrote:Sorry dude your fitment is horrendous up front, these et0?
