Alarm issue

Hey everyone, owned my polo gti for less than 12 hours now and I've got a slight issue..

The alarm went off twice tonight, I'm not sure why?

I read it could be a leaking wiper pipe?
If I open the boot is the central locking ment to arm itself while the boots open then set the alarm off once it senses me? What's broken that's causing this? microswitch??

Bought a new boot microswitch, should arrive tomorrow.
Will update once fitted for people in a similar position!
