respray quotes

anybody ever had a respray job done( a good one) and if so how much did it set you back. im lookin at it for my new G but i havnt a clue what its gunna cost me

My old G40 had a 'free one'

but I think it'll be about Â£1500 or maybe less, you want to do as much prep as you can to keep the cost down!!!

4paws knows a cheap guy in scotland!

i know a good guy in solihull - he did my wing (dent and spray), eyebrow spoiler and 2 parking dents for 180. don't know what this would translate to for the whole car - depends if you do the whole body or just the outside?

at least a grand - 1500 I reckon for a good "cheap" job. could be 5 grand if you wanted!

where are you based? Chestermans in Reading is also a good service, I hear.

I had my G resprayed a few months ago like the previous post says do as much prep work as you can I supplyed a pretty much bare shell it cost me Â£1200 but i also know the guy that owns the place that was for engine bay a few modifications to the body and the boot being sprayed as well where abouts will you be looking to get it sprayed

My mate would do it for Â£500 or so all in (as long as it isn't a mess). He told me I give him the car, he does all the work and I get it back a week or 2 later with fresh paint. Good work too, works for BMW.

my spray job was free from a lad from work but he does loads of side jobs pm me your number if your intrested and i get him to ring u not sure but usally its Â£300 to Â£500 and he does a ace job

I got my black Mk3 squareback resprayed (every panel except the front wings and roof) and it cost Â£750

fantastic job looks like a mirror on sunny days and everyone comments how good the bodywork is so my verdict is its well worth the money. the bodyshop also removed any dents and folded the back arches and sealed them for that price.
