Wing mirror cover

Post by jlpolo »

Well guys was just trying to take off my wing mirror cover and it was hard to get off so I just stopped. Do I just keep pulling and it comes off? Help would be much appreciated :)

You need to remove the mirror glass to start with by GENTLY prising it off with a trim removal wedge along the top of the glass. To make this easier, push the bottom of the mirror glass in as far as it will go. The glass will just pop off.
Once the glass is removed, you will see 2 locking lugs above the motor mechanism where the cap snaps onto the main housing. Release these and then remove the mirror cap by pulling it off and toward the front of the vehicle.
