Heya, Am Kieran
Been on here for a while and thought i would stick a thread up :)

Here is the Polo, We picked up when it was 2months old with 2000 mile on the clock
:) Its the 1.4 85 SE, So basically Match spec minus foglights.

aint done much in the way of mods, with buying the house and with the wedding.
With that taking the priority only debadge it and New interior lights so far.

Like i said above got the house a couple a months ago and the wedding in a month and a bit, but once thats done modding will commence :D

New Wheels, Suspension, RNS510 and smaller mods that finish the car off :)

Nice mate :D how did you get the rear interior light out and what bulb type is it? Are they the same as the front ones?

I have a reflex silver courtesy car and love the colour :) am excited to see these mods! Have a good wedding bud!

I just popped the whole unit out then popped the plastic. And nah they are festoon type I got the 39mm ones, not sure they where the correct size but the fittings are two metal things so pulled them apart slightly.

It is lovely colour looks great after a detail aswell, only colour I would swap it for is the nimbus grey.. And cheers mate :)

Yeah my first one was deep black and it was annoying because I could see every little scratch, silver just has a nice shine to it and is different to other silver cars and now i'm getting candy white.... Shoud be interesting... :)

I live on the end of a drive and 9/10 of the cars are silver and have never seen polish lol so my look great when it's next to them lol. . And cool the candy white is a nice one aswell

In 2010 there was the SE and Moda trim which recently got replaced by the Match trim, it basically combined the two. Yours is the SE not the Match (no foglights).8)

Looks gr8 mate! ,
Mine is a 5 door silver and with tinted windows, it's just gr8,
a few very small scratches and you can't even see them, and if it's dirty you don't notice till you're really close,
love it :)

p.s.
Could you please specify the bulbs you used in the front middle lights and mirrors lights?( seen the link for the back lights)
and how did you open it?,i'm afraid to ruin the roof :)

Thought it was the SE but as couldn't see it on the site found it a bit wierd lol, cheers tho mate :)

also waiting on the arrival of a MFSW i picked up cheap on ebay, just need a air bag for it, might get the silver buttons aswell :)

the silver buttons replace the boring black ones :) adding bit more colour to the interior

Hiya mate

That link has buttons on both sides of the wheel. My mfsw only has buttons on the left, to control the radio. :?

Yeah. . The steering wheel I have just bought has both looking at adding Bluetooth and highline clocks intime.

Can you change the clocks to the highline version? I thought they were only available for the 1.4 TSI, can you get them for the other engines with an MPH speedo? Sorry for the bump!
