Hi, the protections of the headlights?
I find for months, I spent hours on eBay sites in many nations,
at the end I was lucky to find them,
unfortunately Volkswagen will not produce more,
you must try and try ...

If I had to find a sale I'm warning you!!!

Hi,
I was thinking of smoothing the bumpers and doors,
how many of you have done?
What do you think?

Trouble is, is that it's a lot of work as there are holes in the doors and quarter panels that need to be welded, then skim-filled, the resprayed. The bumpers would need to be plastic welded then skim filled and then of course re-painted, so it's quite a lot of the car that would need to be painted altogether in the end!

I understand,
But I see that many of you have done this work ...

If your paint is in good overall condition then don't bother. Sure it looks better but there's a lot of work involved. Spend your money in something else.
Regarding smoothing i've been told that after some period of time the bumper may crack where the welding is done due to weather conditions or most commonly when pressure is applied from another car's bumper.
I wouldn't do it if i planned to keep the car for some years but it's your choice.

Thanks for your advice,
I decided,
I will not do this work,
I like the original and I will keep so.

You could do a small amount of smoothing like the petrol cap finger slot, the boot smoothed or my favorite smoothing idea is the front bumper number plate recess delete. Tidys up the front-end and keeps it looking oem.

I agree, i was going to smooth my whole bumper but i went for just the plate recess in the end it definatly makes the front end look 100% better
