Im thinking of sending some of my dash trims to this company to get the colour changed http://www.garnishdip.co.uk/ still debating at the moment.

What finish are you thinking of getting?

Fake carbon really is awful, hope it's not that! The only benifit to carbon is that it's light. Making the same components slightly heavier by putting fake carbon effect would be really stupid (and will look very Halfords) imo. Piano black would look good.

Was thinking of either Merlin or the Piano Black. I may even get the grill done :wink:

If your thinking Piano Black, why not just buy some of the OEM dash inserts from a 6R GTI? I've posted a thread somewhere on these forums about it previously which include part numbers if I remember correctly. I've never got a price from a dealer though 8)

some of it looks really good but you could do this yourself with some vinyl wrap of ebay probably cheaper aswell, i did my front badge and it was relativly easy and im gunna go at my dash trims as soon as i buy some more of the wrap :D
