BMC CDA is a great induction kit. I just bought my 4th one 8)

what a k&n one? did it improve throttle response a fair amount? and do you have a picture of how you fitted it?

No a BMC. No pics to hand, though there may be some in my old progress thread for me 1.0!

A typhoon would be wasted on a 1.0

And yes did improve the throttle. Going up hills was improved too

Typhoon is a low places air filter pipes with stainless pipe work

Bmc is a cylindrical internal cone vortex filter located near the throttle body

I know how they look, my question is the tech. difference.

I know the typhoon is an open air filter.
So basically the BMC one is just an inbox?

Sorry it cut my post off!

Performance wise they offer similar benefits

The different with the bmc is it makes the air flow into a vortex fashion where's as the typhoon doesn't

There's not much difference in volume of air they can deliver.
