Post by red6n2 »

So I'm having some issues earthing my amp I'm currently using the earthing point in the boot next to the passenger side light cluster but because my front speakers are amped too I'm getting awful feedback through them anyone have any suggestions for a better earthing point ?!.

You shouldnt be getting any feedback. I had no issue using this ground in my old polo

Are you getting alternator/engine noise? You may need a ground loop isolator :)

I just changed the earthing point and sanded the paint away and now it's fine yeah it was engine noise. Just found it strange as it suddenly appeared from no where. And I'm putting twin 10" subs and am going to run another separate amp for my front speakers soon.

Be sure to put some vaseline over it to stop any corrosion ;)
