Polo R-Line - Possible new gearstick knob!

Just been looking at the new R-Line, looks quite beefy, I did however notice that it has a different style gearstick knob than than the standard ones, and after playing around with the configurator they are showing this 'new style' gear knob too! Certainly looks better me thinks!

Looks like the one I have. Came with the Multi-function leather steering wheel. Guess its just standard in the R-line.

the new stick is standard on all cars above the S trim, got it on my new 1.2 TDI. I find it more comfortable to use than the old stick.

Aye but the ones one the 6R have been used since 2002, time changes as does technology and this must be more comfortable to use as well as looking more ergonomic. Need to pop in to the parts department and buy myself one soon!
