Prices of bits and bobs...

Post by JWC »

Hi,
I was waiting for ages today in a VW showroom for one reason or another and thought I'd mosey on over to the parts counter. Where I bought with the prices:

Two Pack - reflex Silver Spray Paint. £9
A new grab handle and cover (mine had peeled) £10
A plastic bit I kicked off the seat! £4
Couple of alloy wheel bungs 40p
New 16V badge. £4
Reflex Silver Chip Kit. £4

Well I actually thought this was really cheap. The paint stuff is better than any other shop, the platic bits were easy to get, I thought they would be silly price like £30 for the handle and surround parts.

So I fixed a load of stuff dead cheap.

yeah, replaceing the handle is a bit or a mare though. It took me a while to work out that it is actually screwed on from the back.

Re-fitted now, and it looks smart.

Am thinking of spraying the old one with the reflex silver just to see how it looks, I think it will look really nice.
