Not got the kind of cash to buy alloys just now buddy. They look sweet though! Good luck with the sale
Re: Noob to the site! Blue Motion 9n3
Think it's the one from the Cup edition, yeah a bit pricey at around £125 but I'd prefer it to look oem than wrapped. Save me the hassle of finding a good enough vinyl. and can always sell my original to make some of the cash backYeahhluke wrote:

Just fitted some wind deflectors, need to get some pics of the L.E.D's I've put in.
Getting a leather retrim in the near future and putting in heated seats as well
Bit of a crappy pic but it'll do for now...

Cool Car, looking nice,
Quick though as you have the gti headlights!
Found some lovely Hella replacement rear clusters on eBay from Germany!. Rather than the red colour they are black. might suite your car as its dark!!
Where did you put the led's?

Yeh I seen them, was really looking into them but decided to just lamin-x the ones on just now. Maybe after everything else is done, I might get them if I'm not happy with it

Nice!!
What interior bulbs did you get and from where? I am looking for some better interior ones!
And how do you get the cover of the interior light, i was poking around with mine and could really figure it out, other than to literally tear it off with something sharp!!!!

On my light, all I had to do was pull the plastic see through part away from the rest of it and it came away separately. Mines is just a single bulb so not sure if you've got the map reading light or just the simple on/off single light?

Hey, thanks,
I have the reading lights in front, can choose to have them on, or either side on/off.

i would personally get rid of the hideous spoiler (hideous in my opinion) ive never liked it ....
They are actually quite low at the front, i had one it was lower than what i got (50mm) although i have 17's.
Id definetly get some wheels first.
did you know these little things have a dpf fitted to them....hmm...lol

Cheers!
Suppose it's not to everybody's taste but I like it. I also like the average 82mpg I'm getting on my commute
I'm keeping he exterior looking as standard as possible. Just changed the front lights and going to lamin-x the rears. the rest is interior work.

- Heated leathers,
Cup edition console
trim some interior bits in brushed aluminium vinyl
maybe do the headlining in leather or black material, same with abc pillars
some kind of double din navigation unit
and that should do it

Re: Noob to the site! Blue Motion 9n3
I did my steering wheel inserts with brushed aluminium vinyl. It's textured too so it looks really good, I'd like to do the centre console with it too if I had the time..

Re: Noob to the site! Blue Motion 9n3
That looks great! might have to do that once I get a leather steering wheel for it. Got a metre of vinyl to use but not sure what on. maybe door handles etc. I'll keep an eye out for pics if you get the centre console doneBen90 wrote:I did my steering wheel inserts with brushed aluminium vinyl.
