Right, my gti has failed it's mot on console bushes.

My 2 choices are

Seat cupra bushes

Poly bushes

What would you choose and why? Pros and cons of both?

Most poly bushes have a lifetime warranty and still have some flex in them whereas the solid Cupra ones do not.

Maybe I'm understanding this incorrectly but both the Seat bushes and poly bushes are solid.
One is made from rubber and the other polyurethane.
The seat bush is only goes half way into the console compared to the polybush.

So how do we come to the conclusion that the polybush is the softer of the 2?

I would have assumed the Seat bushes would give more of a softer feel of the 2?

They are both solid, and I should say that I don't have any first hand experience with this, but I was under the impression that most go for Poly bushes because those who fit Cupra ones often end up with excessive vibrations as a result, So I apologise and I admit my suggestion was not based on experience, but more about hearing what others had experienced :)

I guess it depends on the user, what bushes they had before and the condition they were in.

That said, if mine went and were the voided 'I' shaped ones, I'd have them replaced with the OE 'X' shaped ones that supersede them, but that's just because I want to keep the ride as quiet as I can. :)

I pollybushed my whole car in one go and it seemed firmer than before but still a quality ride and no bad vibrations. Would recommend these to anyone.
