Which makes me laugh, cos you see people quoting their 0-60 times that they got at santa pod.

Probably the 60ft time they are quoting.

Numpties.

Your 0-60mph time is your 330ft time!!!!!!!

My quickest was 6.4sec to 60mph.

Howd u work that out? you could do a 0-60 in less than 330ft or indeed considerably more. Depends on the rate of acceleration, the distance travelled is not a constant.

So both my 1.3 Polo GT, and my 2.0 modified mk2 Golf... oh, and my mates 400bhp Scooby all hit 60mph exactly at 330ft??

Goes to show you really do learn something new everyday!!

Maybe how quickly you do 330ft??? A gt in a certain time, a 2.0 golf quicker, and then the scooby - quicker!!!

The quicker the car, the sooner you reach 330ft. But im not too sure how that is 0-60.

maybe they modded their computer setup to pipe a 0-60 time (however they're measuring that - they install any equip on your car before you do a run? or have a radar gun on you all the way..) through to the not-so-neccessary 0-330ft data array, but couldnt get it to change the title of that line..... hehe

Sorry Sorry Sorry,

Getting myself mixed up here.

The 330ft time is a practically spot on for a G40's 0-60 time, for some bizarre reason. Dont know about other cars though, although I raced a Nissan Gti-R with 280bhp and he did 5.2sec 330ft time. ??? And a scooby did a 4.3sec 330ft time which he said was about right as he's been properly recorded before on proper timing gear as 4.2secs. hmm wierd.
