Wow! That's over 4 times what I pay at the same age! And that's as a second car/with no NCB.

Doesn't that eqauality law with females come in soon? Might help drag it down a little bit?

I pay £300 a year with all mods declared with Adrian Flux.

Proof that insurance does come down eventually.

Always best to shop around when it comes to Insurance because the savings can be pretty substancial

Prices seem to level out when your 20/21 and get better every year after that but certain post codes with high crime rates etc always tend to be pricey regardless of your age and NCB. I'm settled on a Admiral multi car policy now but in the years gone by I have chop & changed every 12 months to get the best deal possible

You will most likely find these days that the renewal comes back more expensive despite the extra year NCB :x

Mine is £800 with 6 years no claims, fully comp and all mods declared through Brentacre.

Adrian Flux are good to try aswell.

Got my premium down to £200 on my 1.0 Polo last year. Then it shot back up when i changed cars

Had a conversation with you a while back about insurance. Just wanted to let you know I got myself a gti back in september (at last) I got my insurance for £1000 in the end on admiral multicar. im 19 now and have only 1 years no claims. Fully comp and a low excess. Check out my thread if you get the chance http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... =7&t=57423

For anyone that is young interested in cheaper in cheaper insurance. If your living with 2 or more people that drive, its worth just giving admiral a call and going for the multi car policy. You get your own policy (you can earn no claims and no one will loose theirs if you have an accident) and it always seems to lower the cost of all the people's insurance that are involved in the policy.
