9n headlight adjustment

Post by wodder »

Hi, is there any way of manually winding down the beam on the headlights? I have adjusted it down via the dash control knob, but still too high...please help

You will need to remove the bumper and then slacken off the headlamp fixing screws poss remove the headlamp altogether as it may have been removed to fit bulbs previously and hasnt been put back in its correct place. Once you have it in you can then try it again to see if this has rectified the situation. You don't need to remove the bumper completely you can have it hanging if you are doing the job your self .

If you are looking at the headlight with the bonnet open you will see a hole on top of the panel, below the hole is a white adjuster. A screwdriver can be dropped through the hole and you can wind the beam up or down as you require. For width adjustment there is the same thing right up against the wing.
You DO NOT need to remove the bumber to adjust the headlight... Just to change the bulbs :(
