cant get rear tail light to come on...

Hi i'v put the rear lights off a mk5 on my car but i can't get the right rear light to come on.. i can get it to come on without the brake light but not at the same time for some reason.. i'v changed bulbs, swopped bulb holders over so it's not either of them it comes on if i put the holder on the correct way round but as it's a mk5 light it needs to be on the reversed way it doesn't.. my wiring all seems fine and the connections.. i have a couple bulbs missing from the left side holder but getting them put in tomorrow so can't think that should effect anything i'm all out of ideas and i have a mot coming up.. any help? There's some wires to swap if you've done this and I believe you only need to reverse one side if I recall correctly.

Ohhh thats what it is.. i completely forgot the red and green need swopping don't they.... cheers mate.. duhhh lol
