Wheels tyres

I've got a set of dunes for my 9n3 that need tyres but I don't know what size to get? 17" 7.5j I think they should have 215 40 17 but will that be to wide for the polo? I don't plan on lowering, anyone that can help?

185/35, 195/40 or 205/40...why won't you lower it???

For them wheels & tt comps etc people always go for 205 40 17. Though, twillo9n has 195 40 17 as he is pretty low.
