Engine Management Light

On my way home from work tonight, I was sitting at some traffic lights in a queue for a while, and suddenly the engine management light came on, drove the rest of the way home and it drove fine, turned ignition off and back on just to check, but it still pinged on?

1.8T engine standard if that makes a difference?
Any ideas?

Could be you brake pedal sensor for your brake lights - if this fails it triggers the light. Get a friend to check your brakes lights are coming on when you repeatadly press the brakes pedal.

Checked the brake lights and its not them, thanks anyway dude, got someone having a look for me tomorrow so should fine out tomorrow
